KnowCP is a joint initiative of the Cerebral Palsy Association (Eastern Cape), and Kyle Business Projects. We operate as a part of the Cerebral Palsy Association (Eastern Cape), from our base in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.

Our Mission is to collect and distribute knowledge on cerebral palsy to everyone who needs it. This includes knowledge about cerebral palsy itself, and about treatments, facilities and specialists in Southern Africa. We intend to make KnowCP the most comprehensive and authoritative resource on cerebral palsy in Southern Africa.

As part of this Mission, we interact with a wide range of people and families affected by cerebral palsy, and get to know more about the specialised needs and problems we face in living with cerebral palsy. Where we can, we channel this knowledge to stimulate development in our society to meet these challenges.

Our ultimate objective is that all of us affected by cerebral palsy are enabled to reach our own maximum life potential, on an equal footing with all members of our community.
