Our services are focused on delivering knowledge about cerebral palsy, treatments, facilities and specialists, and interacting with people affected by cerebral palsy.

The main routes we use to deliver services are:

· On-line library and reading room - Here we have articles, Booklets and Information Sheets covering a range of issues on cerebral palsy. These are available for reading and download in Adobe Acrobat .pdf format. Many of the materials are available in a number of our South African languages, such as Xhosa, Afrikaans, Zulu, SeSotho, Sepedi and English.

· Service provider database - Organisations which provide products or services which are intended to specifically benefit people affected by cerebral palsy can register their details here. This includes schools, care centers, stimulation centers, associations, specialist therapists, medical specialists, suppliers of assistive devices and research programmes.

This database can be searched by anyone looking for a specific service or support in their local area.

· Open Forum on-line bulletin board - This is our way of facilitating communication between individuals and families affected by cerebral palsy, to help build a support network. We also use this forum to identify needs and problems that need to be addressed, to help direct our activities and actions to where we can make an impact.

· Awareness and Knowledge Campaigns - We organise and participate in campaigns to provide knowledge on cerebral palsy to people who need it, or to collect knowledge from people and organisations. These campaigns are community-based (for example through local support groups, schools and clinics) as well as through companies and organisations.

· Information Materials on Cerebral Palsy - We distribute information materials in the form of Booklets, Information Sheets and articles to communities and individuals as part of our own campaigns, and to support the campaigns launched by other organisations.

· E-mail and telephone / fax helpline - To provide access to our services for the many individuals who do not have access to the internet, we answer our telephone and talk to them when they call. To meet their needs, we can distribute our materials by regular mail and from our walk-in center in Port Elizabeth.
